Professor Lucia Mokra from the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences at Comenius University in Bratislava held a first online guest lecture for students of University of Montenegro and University Donja Gorica on Thursday, March 16 at 12.30 pm. The topic of the lecture was “The role of human rights in the enlargement policy”.

Prof. Mokra spoke about the EU enlargement policy, its purpose and Copenhagen criteria, and highlighted the human rights as condition of the enlargement.

During the lecture, prof. Mokra raised several questions:

„How to ensure that human rights are protected equally internally and externally?

What is the positive obligation?

What are indicators for assessment?“

The lecture was concluded with a Question and Answer session, where students took the opportunity to ask questions regarding the interesting and relevant topic.
