Professor Frank Schimmelfennig, from the Centre for Comparative and International Studies ETH Zurich, gave an online lecture, titled “Theories of integration” to students enrolled in the second year of University of Montenegro, Faculty of Economics. Professor Schimmelfennig's lecture was scheduled for March 18, at 8:15 am, as a part of the International Economics course, organized by professor Danijela Jaćimović.

Professor Schimmelfennig opened the lecture by explaining what is the integration theory and what are the sourse of theory development. Later on, he presented two types of integration theory classifications, and focused on specific types individually: intergovernmentalism, neofunctionalism, and postfunctionalism.
