Online guest lecture, titled “Evolution of European integrations: past developments, recent trends and perspectives” by Srdjan Redzepagic, from Balkan Institute of Science and Innovation (BISI) Université Côte d’Azur, Nice, France was held on March 10th, 2022 at 12.30 pm CET, to students of International Economics (2nd year) as part of the class organized by professor Danijela Jacimović, as well as to students from the University Donja Gorica. as part of the class organized by professor Tanja Miscevic and Nikoleta Djukanovic. Over 200 students took part in the lecture.
In his lecture, prof. Redzepagic stated "The EU differentiated integration policy is the result both of the perceived differences between the WBC and of a resurgence in the debate between the member states of the question of the limits of Europe and the enlargement of the EU. One might think that the EU is focusing on building states in the Balkans, uniting them into one region ignoring ethnic and national divisions, so as to bring them closer to a European standard. If this were indeed the case, then these efforts are undermined by European “hostility to future enlargement”, and in particular because this hostility is (partly) based on issues of identity and religion".

This lecture will also be given to on March 15th, 2022, to students of EU Economics (3rd year) of the Undergraduate program as part of the class organized by professor Nikola Milović.
