This course is a compulsory part of the BSc and is available as part of the Academic under-graduate study programme: Economics, module Macroeconomics. (Note: under-graduate academic studies are three years, 6 semesters, 180 ECTS)
Studying and analysis of the most important theories of the European integration, significance, development, and forms of implementation of common EU policies, policies with divided competencies, and policies that are under exclusive competence of the Member States; special areas of the European Monetary Union, Common agricultural policy, Customs union, and EU development policies.
Teaching: No. of lessons per week: 3 Lectures + 2 Exercises
The course will: (i) strengthen capacity of the students to understand appropriately EU policies and its impact on Member States economies; (ii) contribute towards broadening knowledge about the EU development policy and its impact on Montenegrin macro-management, (iii) in the short term this course will help students in education about current European integration process, (iv) in the long term this knowledge will help students in finding future jobs related to different economic and trade activities or work in public institutions connected to EU matters;
The course will be combination: lectures, exercises, seminars, tests, consultations, debate on exercises and during presentations on selected seminars in certain scientific areas. The material of the lectures will be uploaded/distributed before the classes and the students are requested to familiarize themselves with them and to prepare questions for the discussions in classes. The teaching will be supported by guest lecturing from the EU professors (Tepsa) network and the China.
The module literature will be classical world textbooks on EU economic, European economy, and books from authors from Economic faculty.
