Tillandsia crocataTillandsia crocata has one of the strongest fragrances of all scented Air Plants. It has lovely soft leaves and a silver appearance due to the millions of trichomes or hairs that cover the leaves. The flowers are bright yellow. This species likes high light levels and good air movement. I have single plants and some very nice little clumps available.

Billbergia and Neoregelia is a free draining mix comprising of Peat and potting/orchid bark

From Mexico and Central America Tillandsia caput-medusae is a striking species with lovely soft green leaves with purple edges to the lower leaves or sheaths

in a pot or out in the garden down to minus one or two centrigrade
