New TEPSA's “EuropeChats” episode - “European Solidarity in Action”

On December 1, TEPSA has published a new episode of their video series “EuropeChats”, titled "European Solidarity in Action". The episode focuses on “European Solidarity in Action and the Future of Europe: Views from the Capitals”, TEPSA’s new book to which the entire network has contributed a chapter.

You can watch the episode here:

In this episode, our Executive Director Mariam Khotenashvili engages in a discussion on the book together with our Secretary General Jim Cloos, former Director General at the General Secretariat of the Council of the EU, and Prof. Michael Kaeding, Jean Monnet Chair ad personam at the University of Duisburg Essen and co-editor of the book.

The book is the flagship publication of the TEPSA Network, bringing every Member and Associate Member institute together to combine their expertise and produce a book with true European added value.

COVID-19 has put the world in difficulty becoming a new stress test of the Europe’s solidarity after the eurozone debt turmoil, the migration crisis of 2015-16 and Brexit. How European countries perceive solidarity? How do they contribute to common action?  How will the EU shape the recovery? These and many other questions are addressed in the talk.
