Michael Kaeding is Professor for European Integration and European Union Politics at the Department of Political Science of the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany and holds an ad personam Jean Monnet Chair. Also he is a Visiting Fellow at the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) in Maastricht and Member of the Flying Faculty of the College of Europe and the German-Turkish University in Istanbul. He is a Honorary Board Member of TEPSA (Trans European Policy Association) and its previous Chairman from 2016-2019.
The Centre of Excellence at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Montenegro will ensure synergy among academics in Montenegro but also with professors from EU-based universities (via TEPSA), in relation to both teaching and research.
By the interaction of local and EU-based professors in every proposed course throughout the project, this will result in raising both the attractiveness and excellence of our courses on EU topics, as well as increasing the internationalization of teaching and research, and thus bring innovation and knowledge transfer to the current courses.
